Welcome to Shoshone County!

Welcome to the official Shoshone County Republican Central Committee web page. The core of this politically-minded volunteer group is the Precinct Committeemen who are elected by the registered members of the Republican Party in Shoshone County.

We meet monthly on the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 pm at 911 Bunker Ave., Kellogg, Fire Station #2.

Upcoming Events

March 2, 2026 @ 8:00 am

The window to file for office in the upcoming (May 19, 2026) Primary Election is from March 2 through March 13.  There is no fee to file for Precinct Committee person.  Most County officials positions have a $40 filing fee, or a 5 person petition that must be turned into the County Clerk.  Filing through the voteidaho.gov website is fast, easy & will accept credit card payments.  If a candidate is using the petition method, those petitions must still be physically delivered to the elections clerk in Wallace.

Things that Matter to Us

Our Core Values

The marketplace of ideas should be protected.

A system of checks and balances should be used to prevent the abuse of power.

The only reliable basis for sound government and just human relations is Natural Law.

The family is the central and fundamental unit of society.

Private property is an essential, foundational element of liberty.

The unborn should be protected.

The highest level of prosperity occurs when there is a free-market economy and minimum of government regulations.

A free society cannot survive as a republic without a broad program of general education.

Problems should be solved as close to the level at which they originate as possible.
